Privacy
The information you share with staff at Elemental Speech Pathology remains private unless you: give consent for staff to share it; would like help to refer yourself or your child to another service and/or the law requires staff share (e.g. mandatory reporting for sexual abuse).
Cancellations
A client or caregiver will advise Elemental Speech Pathology if a client cannot attend an appointment, within 24 hours. The client/ caregiver will receive a refund of their deposit, if they provide this notice.
N.D.I.S.
If a client’s sessions are N.D.I.S. funded, the client and/or caregiver will check their goals are not doubled up with another provider.
Court Agreements
The client and/or care giver will advise Elemental Speech Pathology of any family court agreements in which a client is involved, and of any guidelines that may affect the child’s therapy plan e.g. if information, such as a report, needs to be addressed to multiple people (such as two caregivers at different addresses) or if a caregiver is not allowed to pick up a child or attend sessions.
